This year's Woodtech had special significance for both AES Group and the Turkish wood processing machinery industry. Since its inception, Woodtech had been held in conjunction with the Intermob fair, but this year, under the leadership of AIMSAD, it was held as a standalone event for the first time. Making Woodtech a standalone fair was primarily aimed at enhancing its prestige, and it was of great importance. Furthermore, with the increase in exhibition space, both the number of participants and the exhibition area expanded. This allowed all participants to showcase their latest innovations at the fair.
As AES Group, due to inadequate space in previous years, we had set up separate stands in two different halls. However, this year, we combined our stands and presented our machines and all industrial solutions in our new 1,000 m2 space in Hall 7. We had previously introduced the GAMMA series, which is a new addition to our product range, at LIGNA, and at the Woodtech fair, we showcased the SIGMA series, which is the next level of the GAMMA series, to our visitors.
An advantage of the new organization of Woodtech for us was that the visitors were individuals from our industry. This allowed us to allocate more time and focus to all visitors. The participation of over 20,000 domestic and international visitors from within our industry greatly increased our opportunities to establish new business connections. With the new face of Woodtech, we are eagerly looking forward to the next fair where we will present our innovations to visitors.
